About Gym and Swim
Gym and Swim is a Bangkok-based tropical pop band, under Parinam Music label. Staying true to their playful name, the band is well-known for live performance with bright melodies. The band comprised of members from various sound influences because some of them belong their own bands, started from Chalerm (vocal and synthesizer, from Seal Pillow), Pokpong (guitar and synthesizer, from Plastic Plastic), Hob (bass and synthesizer, from Details), Terk (guitar and chorus) and lastly Mudmee (drums). They released their first studio album, Seasick in July 2016, receiving positive reviews and strong online plays. Gym and Swim has rapidly gained popularity and been regularly appearing at large music festivals in Thailand and abroad such as Clockenflap 2017 and Wake Up Festival 2018. Also, they had the Seasick Tour in Japan 2016, Taiwan 2017 and Korea 2018. Gym and Swim has a very international and diversified style to its music. Unsurprisingly, the band was chosen to be one of the most intriguing bands in Asia from various global media, for instance, Dazed, Angloinfo, KKBOX and AFFINITY Magazine.
