About Gropetown

Gropetown formed in spring 2010 after the demise of Glasgow bands Weenliz and Grozny. Initially the lineup was Duncan Young (guitar), Ian MacCorquodale (bass), Laurie Pitt (drums), William Robertson (Guitar). On the afternoon of their first gig Kenny Love and Julia Scott were asked if they'd like to sing and they said yes. They play a racket of discordant, energetic, irrational noise-rock/post-punk.
