About Groovy Buddha
Groovy Buddha was a Texas-based instrumental, jazz-funk fusion progressive jam band formed in 1994. It was disbanded in 1999. The members were: * Bart Landry - guitar, primary composer * Tony Ginko - keyboard * Tommy Landry - bass * Clint Short - drums They have one released album, "Supernova" with two live songs featured on it as bonus tracks. Groovy Buddha was a very unique band, they would have a structure to each song but no full song written. Each player would play their instrument however they wanted to and it would all clash together to create their music, which was different to most songs written by other bands at the time. They never got a break sadly, and disbanded because the members wanted different things. Bart made a solo electronic project in the early 2000s called Exstus, and Tommy made a different solo electronic project in 2017, named ARONIM.
