Groggy Rude is a Catalan punk rock power trio, founded in 2016 in Tarragona, Spain. They deliver a raw, emotional Oi!/punk sound with Catalan lyrics and aggressive, powerful melodies. Their songs deal with social issues, nostalgia, growing up, and collective emotions – often sung in Catalan. Among their recordings are punk versions of classic songs such as “Serà perché t'estimo” and Cock Sparrer’s “We’re Coming Back”, which highlight their local cultural references.
