Infectious campfire choruses and lush harmonies float side-by-side over soft, melodic finger-picked acoustic guitar on the debut single by Allston's newest folk-inspired duo, Greylock is for Lovers. The warm, lo-fi track--titled "Sam's Song"--was intimately recorded on a rainy December night by Julia Sonenshein and Noah Balder in their living room. Perfectly tinged in recognizable, heartfelt Americana, the single leaves us all anxiously awaiting the couple's first EP, "For Sam, Forever Ago", due out in early 2009.
