About Grampus Eight

Grampus Eight was a punk rock band from Merseyside, UK. The band's core members were Mark Magill (vocals/guitar, later a member of SSS and the Down And Outs), Andy Mason (bass, later of Get Chevyed) and Lewis Owen (drums). They were later joined by Tony Keenan (guitar/vocals, also a member of Tokyo Adventures and Get Chevyed), and Owen was replaced by Louise Hanman (of Flamingo 50 and Three Minute Margin). Their releases included a split CD with Dina (1999), the "Subway" EP (2000) and "Turn Up Your Stereo" (2001 - a full-length album, which rated four Ks in Kerrang! magazine). A second album was recorded, but remains unreleased. At time of writing, their last live appearance was a benefit for Lance Hahn of J Church in March, 2007.
