GovernmentYard gestated in the edgelands of the East Midlands and flowered in Manchester in 2002 with the release of the Inertia 140 album on The Creation Matrix imprint. Now reunited with the eastern shores of England, inspired by the local landscape, adulthood and a never-ending stream of IDM, downtempo and cult gaming/sci-fi, GovernmentYard will next be heard soundtracking indie games for local developers and, finally, another full-length release.
