About Good Try
Good Try is a pop-rock band from Pearland, TX. The members are Kris Hufstetler (vocals, rhythm guitar), Jay McGuff (vocals,lead guitar), Spencer Riner (vocals,bass guitar), and Kyle Schaefer (percussion). The band began as a strictly acoustic project between Kris Hufstetler and Jay McGuff, and began to evolve as Spencer Riner and Kyle Schaefer joined the band. Currently, Good Try has one release, The Good Try EP. It features 3 tracks, and was produced by David Howard, the guitar player and songwriter for Houston-based indie group, Piano Vines. Currently, Good Try is in the final process of mastering their 4 track EP to be released later this year.
