About Good Morning Finch
Good Morning Finch is a post-rock band created in 2010 in Agrigento (Italy). Their sound is influenced by bands which refers to typical indie-rock and post rock sound. They've supported bands such as Diaframma and Oratio and played at festivals with very influential Italian bands such as Waines and Iotatòla, they played as well at the popular "Italia Wave festival". Their first EP called "40 years ago", anticipated by "Estate" and "Smell of rain" videoclips is distributed digitally and for free on bandcamp and a bonus track edition is available on Tiny Voice Net-label . There are only 20 physical copies released only in Dublin and Edinburgh hidden in various places in the city , the EP was also published and reviewed by websites and blogs specialized in their musical genre in Italy (on the popular The breakfast jumpers, Rockit.it, Radio Ballarò, Penguins love to rock etc), Poland, Japan, Germany, Canada, Romania, France and U.S.A. Some of their songs are used as soundtrack for Spanish and German short films . In March 2012 during Diaframma Catania's support the band won the "indie concept fest" in Catania. After the EP promotion around Sicily g.m.f. faced a pause period ended with the pubblication of their second EP "Cosmonaut" with "Innu" (L.M.) as new guitarist. Cosmonaut is succesfully reviewed in Canada, Italy, UK and New Zeland, is available for free and is distributed in Germany by Pinmusik Netlabel.
