About Gold Key
Gold Key are a four piece alternative rock band comprising of members of Gallows, SikTh, Spy Catcher and Nervus. In the Summer of 2016, Laurent Barnard and Steve Sears decided it was time to make a record together. Not only were the two old school friends but in the last few years Steve had produced two albums for Barnard’s punk band, Gallows. Soon, local drummer Jack Kenny (Nervus / Blackhole) joined the freshly named Gold Key and by the autumn James Leach of heavy prog legends Sikth completed the line-up. They released their debut album Hello, Phantom in 2017 and released its follow up Panic Machine on Venn Records in 2020.
