About GodWrath

GodWrath Are: Israel Soriano - Vocals Shai Mishali - Guitars Ben Kelly Solomon - Bass Hezi Schor - Drums Godwrath's sole and only purpose is to put your body and mind in a vortex of aggressiveness, raw power, and sonic devastation reserved only for the better experiences in life. The band was formed in the midst of June 2008, by guitarist Yaron Schneider (ex. Requiem for Dawn), drummer Hezi Schor (ex. Requiem for Dawn), and Bass player Shai Mishali (ex. Immaterial). In August 2008, GodWrath had their debut show at Phantom Pain's E.P release show at the 8th Star, Hertzelya along with Yotam Avni (Prey for Nothing) as a guest vocalist. The show was a great success, which led the band to start seeking for a permenant vocalist for the band. Finally, at September 2008 - Michal Eitan (ex. Make it Rain) with her crazy screams and growls joined GodWrath. Happily enough, this was proved to be a .musical combination with Michal bringing her Hardcore influences into the bands' already well formed Groove Metal influences. During 2009 GodWrath went all over Israel and left no-stage safe, demolishing every stage they bump into in Hertzelya, Tel-Aviv, Kfar-Saba, Be'er Sheva, Jerusalem, Haifa, Ra'anana and more... And also having the great honor of participating on the Hellelujah 2009 Open Air festival. On June 2009, after a long productive and fruitful year, Yaron has decided to leave the band due to personal reasons. Shai, which was always more of a guitar player than a bass player, took over his place, and the band started looking for a new bass player for GodWrath. After quite a while of looking and working with different bassists, most noticeably Moti Elbilya (Dillema) which left the band on October of 2009, the band got themselves a crazy bass player - Ben Kelly Solomon (Parash Turki, ex-Silverpill) who was just what the band needed in order to move on. The band then performed shows all over Israel, after the release of their debut E.P titled "Immersed in Flames" In May 2010 (now available for purchase through CDBaby @ http://cdbaby.com/cd/GodWrath). In January 2011, it was announced that vocalist Michael Eitan would be leaving the band after a special farewell show on February 10, 2011, though she left the band earlier than expected and the band decided to still play the special shows with guest vocalists filling in for her. The band then went on hiatus looking for a new vocalist. On June 22, 2011, the band announced Israel Soriano as the band's new vocalist, and announced plans to record a full-length album with him, with the first single off the album being in the works already for release later in the year.
