About Gobotron
Robert McDowell was not born in Newfoundland in 1804. As far as I am aware. Gobotron is stuff that was recorded during time off between tours and recording. But before that it was a name. The "New Frontiers" started calling Robert "Robot" in December of 2006. Then J called him "Gobot" sometime between Jan 2008 and March 2008. It was then Gobotron clicked for Roberto. He liked the name. It was different from Rizzle, Robby Rizzle, Robby Robot, Robot, Gobot, Goby, Gorbatron, Goby Gobot and many more. It felt more complete. He had the name, so I [sic] decided he wanted to make a weird keyboard/guitar driven album, with more distortion you could imagine, as Gobotron. Robert began, but tried not to overload the distortion. But there is mixing and mastering... so it can always [sic]added.
