About Gnome & Spybey

Gnome & Spybey is a project spawned from the fertile mind of Tony D'Oporto and Mark Spybey. Mark Spybey has released 14 albums as Dead Voices on Air (DVOA), the most recent being: “From Afar All Stars Spark and Glee.” Now based back in his native England, Spybey was a member of Zoviet-France and has worked with members of Can and collaborated widely with artists such as Faust, James Plotkin, Mick Harris amongst many others. He works with ex-Zoviet France alumni Robin Storey (Rapoon) in the band Reformed Faction. In recent years he has released two albums with Phil Western as Beehatch. Tony D'Oporto has been writing, playing and producing music for over 20 years. His diverse influences have been inspired by years of world travel, moving from one successful project to another. Covering styles of music ranging in scope from; Trance, Industrial, House, Synth Pop, Ambient / Down-tempo, Beats and Breaks. He has released 5 electronic dance music albums under the name Plump Kitties followed by a down tempo EP under the name Gnomes Of Kush.
