About Glycerine

Formed in the late 90's in Paris suburb, France. After three years of regular rehearsals, Glycerine s three founding members started to perform onstage; they did openings gigs for Les Amis d'ta femme, Sanseverino, Monsieur Lune, and recorded their first e.p. in the summer 2003, released in february 2004. The same year, in october, a violonist joined the band, and they performed some other shows (including an opening for Raoul Petite last january). Glycerine stands somewhere between melancholia and energy, looking for the line, exploring the contrast of the acoustic violin sound and the raw, loud guitars. Band site myspace
