About Glaive & Kurtains
A collaboration between artists glaive and kurtains. God Save The Three is glaive and kurtains' first official collaborative project, coming not-so-soon after glaive’s third studio album, Y'all, which kurtains featured on. Recording for the project began during Y'all’s rollout, when glaive teased that he and kurtains had been recording music together in July. He took another visit to the UK and they continued recording music together at the Cotswolds in September 2025. The first track they previewed was “The Troubles” on September 26, at Y'all’s pop-up release party in New York. Information regarding the project was fairly quiet, although glaive had posted subtle teasers online and announced the album was being mastered on December 9. A music video shoot for “Flyen” took place in London, England, on December 22. In January 2026, glaive embarked on his Y'all tour, with kurtains accompanying him in North America. Throughout the tour, they sold a crimson red, “God Save the Three” themed hoodie and performed three tracks from the album: “The Troubles,” “The Band,” and “Let’s Link Up and Die.” Throughout the tour, glaive announced two more music videos. At his Dublin show on February 6, glaive announced that a music video for “The Troubles” was filmed in Kirkee, Ireland, in December 2025. In April 2026, glaive began teasing a single’s release. It was soon after revealed to be “The Troubles,” confirmed for April 24. On a Twitch stream, he stated that the rest of the project would follow suite within 30 days, confirming a May 2026 release. On April 24, glaive and kurtains posted the album’s official cover art and tracklist, revealing no features on the project. “God Save the Three , May 8th. 12 songs written and produced entirely by me and kurtains…. brothers in arms…. forever remember this day…. we wept for it was marvelous….. we smiled for it was magic….” - glaive via Instagram.
