Russell Campbell or Gizwop (previously known as Lil Active) is a young up-and-coming rapper from the 37th Street projects in Southeast Washington, D.C. He is mostly known for his breakout hit “Critical” featuring fellow 37th rapper No Savage. His style consists of real-life stories and punchlines in a lazy-fashion. After serving around 20 months in prison, Gizwop returned home in March 2025 and dropped his third mixtape “Kill or Get Killed” in May.
