About Gerasene Pigs
Gerasene Pigs is a Belgian band playing a raucous type of rockabilly, blues and rock 'n' roll since 2004. After the locally acclaimed EP 'Jitterbuggen mit der Rudi' near the end of 2007, they finetuned a selection of hard-pounding rock 'n' rollsongs through a string of gigs. In 2009 they were shocked to hear they won an anthem-pimping contest and decided to take that good karma into the studio to record their first full album, The San Lorenzo Ballroom Special, which appeared in March 2010. By the end of 2012 they were done recording 'Dry Hopping', a new album recounting in a blend of styles the life and times of various oddballs, currently for sale on their Facebook page.
