Gequater
About Gequater
Gequater is a Dutch band formed September 26th 2007 in Waalre, The Netherlands. Four friends, Joshua Moerman, Bram Witvliet (who are together BroJ), Anna Witvliet and Edo Van Veen (Edo) were recording a jamsession for a friend (Edo did the recording and joined later as a bandmember) and they were so excited, they decided to form a band. Gequater means four times in Latin. The six songs they recorded at Edo`s house are: Christ, Harx, 11!, Lijpe riff, 3 en tellen and 13 + G7 + 5. The tracknames are 100 % constructed by inspiration and they have something in common with the music. They are currently working on their debut album, since these six songs appeared on a demo album, called Album 0. The have composed more stuff for a future album, but those compositions are not yet recorded. Although, a new jam session took place September 14th 2009 at Edo's house in Nijmegen, where 3 new songs were recorded.
