About Gen. Pipek

Gen. Pipek, known also as leader of Zikkurat and Asylum (underground punk bands) started his solo project in 2004. Firstly, he recorded demo on 8-track but it gained only rejection. Then he released some recordings that gained many listeners underground. He plays a mix of experimental rock with traditional 80s guitar (he uses his one since first album) and dark-beat influenced by many schizofrenic books he has been reading. Gen. Pipek (which can be translated into General Pipek) is a good choice for modern and lost males, especially if lyrics contains a lot of lost love and death motives. Gen. Pipek claims he was influenced by Mike Patton, Sonic Youth and DJ Hype. Currently he is working on a new album entitles "Rzeczy Vol. I". It is supposed to be an extremely unordinary experimental album with creepy mastering.
