Greg “ Gee Mack” Dalton is one of the most sought after Guitarists of his generation. Gee Mack has been fortunate to turn his love of music into a career which has spanned more than 25 years, and he continues to share his talents with some of the most recognizable artists in the music world. Born in Portland Oregon, Gee Mack first discovered his love for music at the age of 9 when he began trumpet lessons at his public elementary school. Two years later while listening to a George Benson record, G Mack was inspired to try the guitar. By high school, Gee Mack had become accomplished enough on the guitar that he began working the local club scene. He further honed his music skills in band class at Portland's Jefferson High School. In 1984, Gee Mack moved to Los Angeles, California. Shortly after, R&B singer Cheryl Lynn offered Gee Mack the chance to accompany her on tour. After a friend arranged a meeting with the legendary R&B group The Whispers, G Mack went on to write and produce the song “Forever Lover” from The Whispers' Certified gold album “More The Night”. As Gee Mack continued to sharpen his skills and settle into the Los Angeles music scene, he got a call to serve as Music Director for the multi platinum female vocal group En Vogue as they embarked on their first national tour. Gee Mack has toured and recorded with artists such as Stevie Wonder, Mary J Blige, Jay Z, 2Pac, Jamie Foxx, Brandy, LL Cool J, Snoop Dogg, The Temptations, Charlie Wilson, Ronald Isley, Tyrese Gibson, Brenda Russell, Lalah Hathaway, Angie Stone, Anthony Hamilton, Raphael Saadiq, Gerald Levert, Will Downing and many others. Gee Mack has appeared as guitarist, songwriter or producer on well over a dozen Certified Gold and Platinum albums. In the early 90s, Gee Mack formed The Polyester Players, a 70's soul & funk band made up of top studio musicians and singers that immediately became a popular staple on the Los Angeles club circuit. Heavily influenced by James Brown, The Ohio Players, Earth Wind & Fire, and Kool & the Gang, The Polyester Players perform original songs and classic R&B hits. The Polyester Players have appeared on “The Tonight Show", "The Jamie Foxx Show", "Moesha", "BET's Comic View", and continue to perform for many packed club appearances in Southern California. In addition to playing to packed clubs with The Polyester Players and touring and collaborating with major recording artists, Gee Mack has also composed and produced songs for major film releases such as “Soul Plane” (MGM) starring Snoop Dogg and Academy Award winning actress Monique, “Another Day in Paradise” (Trimark Pictures) starring James Woods and Melanie Griffith, “Kings Ransom” (New Line Cinema) starring Anthony Anderson and Charlie Murphy, and “Butter”(HBO) starring Terrance Howard and Nia Long. Gee Mack has also lent his musical talent to Fox's “The Bernie Mac Show” as well as “Grand Theft Auto San Andreas” -- the highest selling video game of all time. From 1998 to 2003, Gee Mack Hosted “Gee Mack’s Casino Comedy Show” In Los Angeles, sharing the stage with comics such as Sherri Shepherd, Mike Epps, Nick Cannon, Cedric The Entertainer, Katt Williams, Chris Tucker, Rodney Perry and many others. Over the course of an extraordinary career which is now approaching three decades of uninterrupted musical output, Greg “Gee Mack” Dalton has established a reputation as one of the most innovative and influential artists of his generation.
