He started playing classical guitar when he was nine years old. In Podgorica, Montenegro, he finished primary music school and the first two years of secondary music school in the class of professor Nedeljko Pejović. The rest of his secondary school, he finished in the class of professor Srđan Bulatović, alongside with a jazz guitar, in the class of professor Milorad Šule Jovović. In 2007 he entered the Music Academy in Cetinje, Montenegro, department of classical guitar in the class of professor Srđan Bulatović, which he quits in November 2009. May 2010, he enters the Jazz Academy in Graz, Austria, department of jazz guitar in the class of professor Guido Jeszenszky. Filip played in bands like “Banda od muzike” (The gang of music) and many other Montenegrin groups. He apeared as the guest at the concerts of many bands, among them, the most important is the band “Autumn For Free”. He has also appeared on the audio CD of Vladimir Maraš, called “10/8” and “Signal Test”, CD of the previously mentioned group “Autumn For Free”. Filip played in many performances of the Montenegrin National Theater, such as: ”Christopher Columbus”, “Europe”, “Montenegro Blues”, “Let’s have sex” and “Art Export”. He was the music producer for the play “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Wolf?” and “When Women had Wings”, where he also was the co-author of music. In 2008, 2009 and 2010, Filip played in Petrovac Jazz Fest, and many other Montenegrin jazz festivals such as the Jazz Appreciation Month. As for individual projects, Filip is a member of the Montenegrin reggae band “Fetah Vibration”, he co-operates with Cinzia Catania, the jazz singer from Switzerland, and her band from Graz and he is also an associate member of the ensamble “Baltazar”. Author’s work: Among with all the projects and concerts with many musicians and ensambles, the most importants are the three concerts of author‘s music – cycle “There’s No Time” in 2006 and three author’s music concerts with ensamble “Baltazar” in 2010. Furthermore, the soundtrack for the short film of Zdravko Krulj in 2009, titled “Sorted! Some Nice Folk”, stands out, along with an independent work “The Wilderness Days” in 2008. Likewise, there are mutual projects: In 2010 a project with the trumpet player Strahinja Kovačević, called “Bluzd Myth” (Mit o Blužđu), then a project with Petar Dobričanin “The Review of Cigaretar” (Osvrt Cigaretara) and a co-operation with Vjera Nikolić for the soundtrack from the ballet titled “When Women had Wings”. Filip’s two new works are in the process of recording.
