Freudian Lick are five very different people that got together as part of their college project - to create a band, write songs, gig and record an EP! They all love jammin' together and the opportunity to gig, and hope that you like the sounds they create. They have Jamie Cutts singing with his powerful (and topical!) lyrics, Leon Newman picking out melodic riffs with his left handed guitar, Chris Nichols bass funkin' and keyboard bashing, Jess Rundle piano Hoppin' and Saxophone shredding, and Joe Hawes just generally... err... hitting stuff! Their debut EP "Blood, Sweat and Tears" was released on June 8th at their FMP, and can be purchased by contacting the band directly or through MySpace.
