Edinburgh, United Kingdom (2010 - Present) Freddie Franklin is an upcoming British recording artist, songwriter & producer based in Edinburgh United Kingdom. Born in Jersey, Channel Islands, Franklin released his independent Debut Foreigner EP in May 2011, making it available for free download via his Soundcloud and Dropbox. Written and recorded in Beijing, China, Foreigner EP is a dance pop record, influenced hugely by trance, progressive house and dubstep, with pop vocals, melodies and hook lines. Following favourable reviews from press and public alike, Franklin has started to take the EP live, with dates throughout the United Kingdom planned for 2011 and beyond.
