Francesca Jackson Is a musical theater actress originally from Ystranglais Swansea now based in London. Prior to this Fran stared as Bet in the previous production of Oliver at the age of 14, and many other various roles through the NYMT. She has since been on to complete a 3yr Musical Theater course at Mountview and stared in the touring production of the Rod Stewart Musical Tonights the Night as understudy to fellow contestant Rachel Tucker. She then went on to secure a leading role in the Rent Remixed 2007 West End production as Joanne, opposite Denise Van Outen and the Jessie Wallace. She is probably most well known from the recent BBC TV show I'd Do Anything talent search to find the next actress to play Nancy in Cameron Mackintosh's new production. Since the show Fran has landed one of the leading roles in the new Barry Manillow musical Can't Smile Without You, in which she plays the character of Lucy, the cast are currently on a national tour before hopefully hitting the West End early 2009.
