About Forcefeed

Metal Hammer (UK): “Meat-and-potato chugging downtuned riffery à la Soulfly combined with intensely melodic choruses in the style of American Head Charge. Loud, proud and guaranteed to rock the crowd.” Since their September 2002 formation Dutch five piece metalband Forcefeed never stopped moving forward. Just a few months after being formed, Forcefeed self-released the EP “Choke On A Mouthful” in January 2003, and signed a record deal with the independent label Avalanche Music in June of that same year. In April 2004 their debut album “When Grey Becomes” was released, of which the band’s first video “The Things They Say” charted 2nd on the rock chart of music station The Box, and got regular airplay on Dutch MTV. The deal with Avalanche was prolonged, and Forcefeed’s second album “Stainless” was released in October 2005. 2006 saw the band take off to the US for a 3 week tour. In combination with the glut of shows they played over the years, under which supports for bands like Bloodsimple and American Head Charge, all of this allowed Forcefeed to develop a blistering live-act. Forcefeed have now finished making their next record with producer Jochem Jacobs (Textures / Split Second Sound), and inked a deal with Rusty Cage Records to release it. The new album "Forcefeed" will be released Fall 2008!!
