About Fontane

1. Fontane was a poprock band from the Netherlands. 2. Fontane was a pop-punk/hardcore band hailing from Abilene, Texas. Fontane pushed the limits of the typical punk, emo, or hardcore sound and incorporated challenging yet catchy rhythms and melodies. They had a real emotional intensity, and they sang/screamed heartfelt lyrics over the foundation of punchy guitars. Not long after the band broke up the members joined other bands. Clint would go on to join the well-known San Diego metalcore band As I Lay Dying, Zach played guitar for Thorn Vs. Side, and Brandon went to play drums for Umbrellas. Members: Clint Norris - Vocals, Bass (2000 - 2003) Brandon Peterson - Drums (2000 - 2003) Zach Neeley - Guitar, Vocals (2000 - 2003) Larry Kendrick - Guitar (2000 - 2002) Mark Woods - Guitar (2003) Releases: Hidden Wounds (three-track EP) Preservation Through Destruction (LP, 2002, In The Garage Records)
