Folk dance ensemble “Vila” exists in the cultural centar “Zeleznicar” in Novi Sad which was founded 3rd June 1934, on the holiday of the czar Konstantin and czarina Jelena. The founder was the eparchy of Backa region. The main activities of the Folk ensemble “Vila” are based on the preserving the folk tradition of the Serbs, on the first place, but also of the other nations that live in Serbia.
