About Farmer's Daughter

The world of country music has changed during Farmer’s Daughter’s seven year hiatus but one thing hasn’t changed…there is always room in country music for great harmonies; enter Angela Kelman, Jake Leiske and Shauna Rae Samograd, otherwise known as Farmer's Daughter. The female trio spent the 90s on the road, playing everywhere they could in their native Canada. During that time the girls released four albums, Girls Will Be Girls, Makin' Hay (certified gold), This Is The Life and The Best of Farmer's Daughter, and 13 Top 10 singles including their first #1 song, "Cornfields or Cadillacs." Now, after a well deserved break, they are reuniting for the international release of their fifth album in 2010. Their distinctive sound, infectious harmonies and entertaining stage show has taken the girls to places they never dreamed of. From a tiny stage in a small Canadian town to entertaining the troops as part of a variety show in North Africa, Farmer's Daughter has been there, always giving more of themselves for the love of music and music fans. No matter what the future holds for Farmer's Daughter you can be sure that it will be filled with great music, entertaining performances and an endless dedication to their fans. After all, music is an important part of who they are.
