Fallout40 were a 4-piece rock band with a distinct punk edge from Derby, England. The band featured Joe Brown on vocals and guitar, Sam Wessel on drums and vocals, Keith Schofield on guitars and screams and Gherkin on bass. following a series of self-financed EP’s the band caught the Attention of London label You And Whose Army? Records who released their 'Attain To A Calm' EP in 2004 produced by Iain Wetherell (Capdown, Lightyear, My Awesome Compilation). Their incendiary rock and punk hybrid and their persistent tour effort gained them an established fan base across the country and allowed them to gain support slots with international artists including punk superstars Rancid and pop-punk hopefuls Rufio. The band sadly split in 2005. "One of the most promising UK melodic hardcore bands.
