About Fallen August
Fallen August is a hardcore band that formed in the August of 2004 in the Washington DC area, inspired by the "breaking of a relationship" between bass player SARS and a close friend. The events leading to the creation of the band can be found in the song Broken, a song that is played at all of their live shows. All of the members have nicknames; never revealing their true names to their followers. The lineup consists of BleedingHeart (Drums, Vocals), XJungle (Guitar), and SARS on bass. In the beginning, they recorded an EP and then followed up with a full length, recorded over several months. Thugs and Cheese came next, and then Red Snow, Red Wrists, Red is a Nice Color for the Holiday for the holiday season. Recently, the band has shifted focus from recording music to film, where they will release their full length debut on DVD sometime in 2006, as music videos. They are infamous for their live shows, which combines the songs with improv acts, cutting themselves, crying, and screaming to get the audiences attention.
