Father Apostolos Hill Father Apostolos Hill has served in the Orthodox Church as cantor, youth director and catechist, and was ordained to the priesthood on July 15th, 2001. He is currently the Dean at the Assumption of the Theotokos Metropolis Cathedral of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese, in Denver, Colorado. In the past, Fr. Hill has served at St. John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church of Omaha, NE and as a chanter in various parishes over the ten years prior to his ordination as well as teaching Byzantine chant. His recordings of Byzantine chant ("Gates of Repentance", "Hymns of Paradise", and "Cycles of Grace: Hymns from the Great Feasts" [a 2 CD set]) have been well received in Byzantine chant circles and are best sellers.
