F. S. Merriwether used to record things as Ryder, but decided a few years back it was good to simultaneously drop the name-sharing with some sort of classic rock act and to ditch his reliance on sampled beats. Lately, he's been recording a series of covers of popular songs without actually listening to the songs first. You can find them over at http://covers.chucklehound.com/ if you're interested. He also used to be a member of Formerly Known as Oedipusaurus Rex, Frubulous Snacktime, Bosse-de-Nage, Kill Yr. Hi-Fi, and probably a few other bands he's forgotten about that never got around to actually performing or recording anything.
