Ernesto "El Canella" Anaya (born 10 de February 1962, Mexico) founder of the Ernesto Anaya Lara Quintal is a musician dedicated to the folkloric Latin and Mexican music An arranger, composer, producer, singer , guitarist, violist and violinist. He began his studies with Gerardo Tamez and later studied viola and composition in Mexico City. He has participated in various projects. As an arranger and musician, has worked for Eugenia León, Astrid Hadad, Lila Downs, Frank Pepe, Bandula, Adriana Landeros y Caito, Los Folkloristas and Ana Torroja. He has composed incidental music for "Mirada de Mujer" (Female Gaze) and several productions of "Argos". He has spent 14 years in the "Planta de Luz" as musical director.
