Eric Paul Johnson (born in May 1969) is an American cartoonist, writer and parody recording artist who first came to fame as part of the Loons, a group of north Phoenix teenagers whose films ("The Man Called Bear: Hero At Large"), newspaper (The Loon News), performance art stunts ("Loon Aid", "Hands Across Eric's Bedroom") and band (The Loons Till Death) captured the imaginations of Arizona teens in the 1980s. Johnson has recorded countless hours of parody and original songs, radio broadcasts, audio plays and unclassifiable sonic experiments that continue to delight and disturb listeners everywhere.
