Emma Nordenstam brings a melancholic blend of Swedish, minimal, singer songwriter music. Emma Nordenstam released two albums: Sånger mellan 18-22 (Vesper Records 2004) was produced by herself and Oscar Danielsson. Varje flickas dröm (Vesper Records 2006) was produced by herself and Jonas Jonasson Emma Nordenstam also writes music for children and her songs are regulary occuring in the Swedish radioshow Kusin Vaken. She has been cooperating with Cecilia Klingspor for many years and finally they are recording her first soloalbum. Producers are Cecilia Klingspor, Emma Nordenstam and Johan T Karlsson, known as the man behind Familjen. More recently, Emika Klasdotter joined Emma & Cecilia on stage. On the 21st anniversary Schizoid Boat they were joined by Nicklas Barker (Anekdoten) on mellotrons. Influences: Tove Jansson, Joni Mitchell, Rickie Lee Jones, Simon and Garfunkle, John Holm, Jakob Hellman, The Knife.
