About Emil Lanne
Born and raised in Sweden, Emil spent the 90ies in Stockholm in the midst of the electronic music culture and discovered a passion for house, techno, drum & bass and other forms of electronic music. Later he moved on to London UK and since 2005 he's located in Brooklyn, New York.With a passion for old funk & soul Emil draws a lot of inspiration from records from the golden era of the 70s and 80s. Combined with a unique perspective on the US house scene, he blends together his own style of funky and groovy house. Emil has had a string of releases and remixes for One thirty recordings, and also released material with Blockhead, connected music and Lingo recordings.
