Emil Dimitrov (December 23, 1940-March 30, 2005) was born in Pleven, Bulgaria. His first appearance in the musical scene (as singer and composer) comes out in the early 60s. His music repertoire includeds more than 350 songs - among them the unforgettable "Arlekino", "My Land, My Bulgaria", "Our Signal", "Julia" and "Goodbye Maria." For his over fourty-year career he has released over 30 music albums and made around 7 000 concerts all over the world.(Russia, France, Italy, Asia, Africa) The music idol of several bulgarian generations died on March 30, 2005.
