About Emage
Emàge (as their name is stylized on all releases) was a 90's girl group consisting of Kimberly Evans (known as Brely Evans now), Mykah Montgomery and Taura Stinson. They were signed to Mercury Records and released their sole album Soul Deep in 1994 - featuring the single "The Choice Is Yours". Also featured on the album was a remake of the Minnie Riperton classic "Inside My Love" and "Feel The Funk" which sampled the Isaac Hayes song "Ike's Mood I", just like Mary J. Blige's "I Love You", released that same year on her My Life album. In 1995 they were one of many of the black female artists featured on the all-star anthem "Freedom (Theme from Panther)". After this, no releases from the group followed.
