About Edra
ÆDRA was born in 2003 as an outlet of the ideas Peter Drastrup, Loke Ansbjerg and Morten Purup all shared. The music had no concrete limitations and therefore the genres psychedelic, grunge, metal, alternative and rock all grew into one great common factor. Incorporating technical skills with odd time measures and heavy circling riffs resulted in the instrumental demo EP "Craft of Artistry" which was - and still is - meant as bait for a future vocalist. The EP also had a few pleasant side effects for ÆDRA. They were awarded with a good amount of money from MUSAM to spend on a promotional CD and in addition to this honour the band was awarded 'Track of the Day' on the huge American GarageBand.com.
