In 2000 Ed propelled from underground garage producer to near enough a household name with the massive remix of Gorillas Clint Eastwood . It was a chance encounter with Damon Albarn,which changed Ed's life .Damon suggested that Ed take a listen to the gorillas first album which had just been completed in Jamaica. . Asked if he could do a remix of one of the tracks .Ed made his choice and within 3 days were performing to a large crowd at the Notting Hill Carnival. That performance transformed in to an anthem , staying in the top ten for eleven weeks.Following this success Ed went on to produce and remix some of the biggest artists of the time . In 2001 he was signed to Sony to produce his own album Eds Guest list. The album was a collaboration of different artists from different musical genres . Having established himself as a professional producer and remixer ed does remixes for the likes of Destinys Child Bootalicious Misteeq and Mj Cole to name a few ,He is extremely well respected in the industry as being hard working and a real musician. Ed has been described by NME as UK Garage Legend , global dance innovator ,genuine genius Ed proper Case.
