About Earl Thomas with Paddy Milner & The Big Sounds
A true and international collaboration between Earl Thomas, Paddy Milner and the Big Sounds. From an initial meeting between Earl and Paddy on the 2007 Legendary Blues Cruise, to a separate meeting with regular Paddy Milner & The Big Sounds bassist Scott Wiber, the project was born. After Earl needed a band to back him up on some UK dates and radio shows, it made sense that Paddy brought the whole band. It was such a vibe-filled experience for band and audiences alike that they decided to continue the collaboration by recording their first album in June 2008, for release in October 2008. Since the band's first date together in March 2008, they have already racked up BBC2 live sessions, UK/Ireland festival headline slots, and a headline tour of Italy. The self-titled album 'Earl Thomas with Paddy Milner & The Big Sounds' will be launched on the Legendary Blues Cruise in October 2008.
