About ESTRIBA

Estriba is a Chilean musical project led by Estonia Oczara, a former member of groups such as Gris Castigado. In 2019 and under the label Poxi Records, they would release their first EP, "Silueta", an acoustic record with a lo-fi sound, and recorded directly on cassette. At the beginning of 2023 they would release their second EP, "Ocaso", in which they would leave behind the acoustic format to focus on a louder and more electric sound, with influences from post punk and noise rock, although keeping the lo-fi and reverberated vocals that had characterized their first release. Estriba es un proyecto musical chileno liderado por Estonia Oczara, ex integrante de agrupaciones como Gris Castigado. En 2019 y bajo el selli Poxi Records lanzaría su primer EP, "Silueta", disco acústico con un sonido lo-fi, y grabado directamente en cassette. A principios del año 2023 lanzarían su segundo EP, "Ocaso", en que dejarían atrás el formato acústico para centrarse en un sonido más ruidoso y eléctrico, con influencias del post punk y el noise rock, aunque conservando las vocales lo-fi y reverberadas que habían caracterizado su primer lanzamiento.
