E:Mortal

About E:Mortal

E:Mortal aka "Fredrik Johansson" first got into dance music in the early 90', listening to most of what was released back then. His passions were tracks that had a story to tell. Artists like Ayla, Kenji Hurricane, Planet Fuse and Quietman inspired. Fredrik has been involved with music all his life, from beating spoons at the table as a baby (altough not in a very rythmic fashion), learning music on his first piano, then learning compositions when he got his first computer to after school, where Fredrik started doing a lot of productions for various multimedia oriented events for companies like Sony. In 2005 Fredrik felt it was time to start his own act and thus E:mortal was born. It's goal was to give mindprints with emotional and energetic music. Today, in 2006 E:mortal has already released three tracks with the track "Days On End" doing very well in Richmond Pool Chart, placing E:mortal above big and talented artists like Armin van Buuren, Tiesto and Above and Beyond. The future is looking bright with the talented singer Tiff Lacey leading E:mortal into the vocal trance genre with her serene and blessed voice. Tiff broke into trance in 2002 with Paul Oakenfold's Hypnotised, which became the best-selling dance single in the US. She has also written and featured on numerous tunes for artists like ATB, Matt Darey, Headstrong, and The Flash Brothers. Tiff also appears on major film soundtracks, like 'Marrakech' (ATB) the theme for the movie 'Mindhunters' (starring Val Kilmer & Christian Slater). More info about the forthcoming E:mortal tracks will be presented as they become available on emortal.se. Stay tuned!
