Liliana Barrios is a contemporary singer of Argentine tango classics: she has recently recorded an album - Troileana - featuring works by Anibal "Pichuco" Troilo (1914 - 1975), mainly from the 1940s and 1950s. She is the daughter of an Argentine composer and and tango singer. Liliana spent her childhood in the San Miguel area in the north-western part of Buenos Aires, singing tango accompanied by her father. Training as a fashion designer, since 1995 she has spent an increasing amount of time devoted to the tango.
