About Duda In The Sky
Duda In The Sky's album tres explores the strength that exists in fragility. With 8 tracks that go from an "ei" ("hey") that sparks a high-spirited conversation to the "raiva" ("anger") of the dissatisfaction of a badly-finished relationship, "tres" is intense just as its composer - Duda feels a lot and, in her new work, she shows that there is beauty in that. With the aesthetics based on the intensity of red and the polaroids that represent a captured moment, "tres" is a clear reference to her third work, but it is also an allusion to "très", French for "a lot". Following Sentido (2019), Amora (2020), Duda's sound in this work permeates pop, rock and indie, being part of the so-called new MPB, in a consistent and mature way.
