About Dru Blues & The Jingle Jangle

'Dru Blues & the Jingle Jangle' is a folk duo from Ulverston, Cumbria in 2009. The duo consists of Dru Blues and Mark Borthwick, who describe their music as 'Folk-Punk-Indie-Rave-Dance'. Together they play guitar, fiddle, occasional accordion and have an unadulterated passion for feel good music. They started out playing a few covers in living rooms and on coaches and then Andrew began churning out his own songs at a devastating rate, which were well received when played live. Their influences are Bob Dylan, Okkervil River, Frank Turner, Laura Marling, The Decemberists, Bombay Bicycle Club and, Million Dead. Their debut EP, 'Live At Diversity FM: The Green Couch Sessions', was released in late 2011 and was generally well received by the media.
