Drowning the Virgin Silence explores the textural and tonal aspects of minimalism, electro-acoustics, drone, sound collage, ambient, and post-industrial noise through the use and misuse of magnetic tape splicing, dronal delay, manipulated field recordings, and controlled feedback incorporated with a heightened visual aesthetic. It is the experimental project of visual artist and sound designer Richard Vergez.
