The Dr Lovepole Experience were a Dudley, UK based rock cabaret act. The classic lineup featured on vocals Dr Lovepole - the genetic mutation of a love match between Joplin and Cohen back in 1968. Fatsio Bastardo (Guitar/Vocals/Food Solo) - Attired like a reject from Prisoner: Cell Block H, Bastardo transitioned from soaring riffage to flubbering about in a pool of gateau and blancmange like no other artist on earth. W A Anchor (Guitar/Vocals) - found on the street in a Melbourne suburb better known as the place they film Neighbours, he used to be Bouncer the Dog's handler. Viscount Strapon (Bass/Vocals) - found in a kebab shop in Dudley protesting about rights for kebabs and that they should not have to put up with the gross treatment from drunks. Sporting mammoth false norks and with cucumber firmly in place, Strapon cut a dashing figure on the stages of the West Midlands. Demon Child (Drums) - replaced the original drummer after he sweated himself to death in a wetsuit. The Dr Lovepole Experience committed only three tracks to tape during a Tizer-fuelled 13 month recording enema - these legendary tunes live on in the guise of the Suck My Lovepole EP - A must for every discerning aficionado of cross-dressing rock cabaret acts from Dudley.
