John R 'Dr Jack' Shelton is a London-born American Musician/Producer and self proclaimed "Godfather of Post-DIY", a music production process and genre inspired by the rituals and methodologies of making classic concept albums enacted through use of home & DIY recordings by a production force beyond the artist to entirely rearrange sonically, stylistically and generally for use in creating a cohesive final product. As the 93rd Degree Illuminatus of the interNational Association for the Advancement of Manic Depression, and Post Post-Postmodernist, JR Shelton is a believer in Libertarian Socialism witht he understanding that in his own words on social networking, "this is an idealistic political philosophy and in reality my beliefs incorporate: Hardcore Right wing Liberalism, Communistic Paleoconservatism, Green National Socialism, Moderate Extremism, Randian Populism, Angletonian Socialism, Surreal Politik, Antizionists For Israel, Jews For Jesus (whatever they believe, Angleton?*), Paranoid Realism (Personal Security Motivated Counterintelligence Hobbyism), Idealistic Defeatism, Patriotic Skepticism.
