They recorded their first single in 1994 titled "Disaster Troop." and went on to record more singles and a full album titled "Mass Confusion." in 1995. They recorded at Sound Camp Studios in Utica, Michigan on their own label Dir-T-Dawg Records. Down Boyz associated with other Detroit area horrorcore groups like: The Boneyard, Lunacy, House of Krazees, ICP, & The R.O.C.
